Friday, I caught a flight to Blog Orlando- barely unpacked from the previous weekend at Blog World in Las Vegas. Blog Orlando was fantastic. Met great people, took in a lot of information, and laughed harder than I have in ages… alas, that is another post that will be coming soon.
I arrived in San Diego Monday night. Caught a flight to San Francisco from Long Beach, Tuesday morning (almost Tuesday afternoon as I missed my flight- love LA traffic! Keeps you on your toes!) So today is… um… Wednesday (yes, I had to actually check) and I am in San Francisco to meet with Luca Filigheddu, CEO of Abbeynet in Italy. Abbeynet is a leader of Italian VOIP services, including Sitòfono and the newly released beta, Hictu. If you haven’t checked out Hictu yet, I recommend you do. Think Twitter with video, audio, and image in addition to text plus the option for direct mobile messages. Hictu is still in the early stages of beta but after speaking with Luca (twitter.com/filos - tell him Jeni sent you 
) I’m interested in seeing where this goes. Particularly since there is talk of revenue-sharing in the works and unique options for aspiring video bloggers. In fact, if you’re a bit of a card and not camera shy, I would recommend giving Luca a shout. Never know where that might lead.

How I envy you, and wish I was in your shoes right now… Hearing about your travels and networking meet ups really does inspire me though as I see myself being in the same position with a couple of years.

Freddie- I am on the go! But now, I’m staying put in Southern Cali for the next 3 weeks until Joel Comm’s Elevate Seminar in Denver. Threeeeeee short weeks to recover from my OC, Las Vegas, San Diego, Orlando, San Francisco, Long Beach week + of travel. Met so many great people at Blog World Expo and Blog Orlando and of course Luca in San Fran- the tight schedule was definitely worth it.

I have, until this point, avoided twitter like the plague. Knowing me I would never get anything done. How do you balance your busy social schedule with your work?

Good question. I honestly don’t have a schedule but probably should. I sort of go with the flow and keep on my with my socializing, then break away and work when it hits me or when I have something that needs to be done.
NormalJoe has some great ideas on this though- he’s a firm believe in the work ___ hrs and play ___ hrs. Joe, clue us in? What is your schedule and how is it working for you?
All this talk about sushi…. I’m getting hungry! Glad you like the new site theme- have a few more changes in mind and looking forward to hearing what you think!
